LARBECO Opens
Savings and Credit Branch in Isabela
City
The
Lamitan Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (LARBECO) based in Limook,
Lamitan City inaugurated their second satellite mini-savings bank on N.
Valderroza Street, Isabela City, February 26, 2012 (in front of the Bureau of
Internal Revenue office).
Services
offered are regular savings and time deposits. The establishment also extends
the following loan assistance: business, salary and pension with 4%, 4% and 3%
interest rates, respectively.
The cooperative’s members’ savings
operation was first established in November 2002 funded under the Belgian
Integrated Agrarian Reform Support Program, a foreign-assisted project of the
Department of Agrarian Reform. It has further earned the support of NATCO.
